Found a Syringe?

In our 4 years as a not-for-profit, and two years as a mutual aid group, we’ve only gotten a couple of emails asking for guidance and support with disposal. The truth is, that mitigating the risks of interacting with a syringe is easy and accessible.

We’ve reached out to other community organizations, park rangers, and beach cleanup leaders to make sure they have our number, and the response we always get is, “we really don’t see very much, and the few we do, we feel safe handling ourselves.”

We’re glad to see the false narratives shifting away from fear and towards education and hope to continue a conversation of advocacy for greater safe syringe disposal access.
